What are the eligibility criteria for admission?

To be eligible for admission, a student must meet the age criterion as of March 31, 2025, and have successfully completed the previous grade. The admission process also involves a Simple Entrance Test and a Formal Interaction with both the student and parents.

YIPS is committed to providing a world-class learning environment with state-of-the-art facilities. While the school is currently operating from an interim campus, it is set to transition to a permanent, 50-acre campus soon, which will offer a wide range of residential facilities. The current campus provides a safe and inclusive environment with air-conditioned classrooms equipped with interactive smart panels. Students also have access to a library and resource centre , a music and dance studio, a computer lab, and an infirmary. For convenience, optional transport facilities are also available

An application fee of ₹500 is required for candidates from the police department. For civilians from non-police backgrounds, the application fee is ₹1,000.

Sports: We aim to provide a well-rounded athletic experience with sports like football, cricket, and more.

 Outdoors: Students can participate in activities such as rock climbing, survival skills training, night camping, fire-making, and navigation challenges.

Communication: Our programs include debates, public speaking, collaborative story writing, and creating interactive podcasts.

Leadership Skills: We focus on developing leadership with influence, accountability, and a “I will be the Change” mindset.

Farming Related Activities: Activities include urban farming and gardening, ploughing and farming skills, animal husbandry, and harvesting skills

5+3+3+4 structure of the NEP 2020. This approach replaces the traditional 10+2 system and is designed to align with children’s cognitive development stages. The teaching methods and pedagogies followed are:

  • Integrated Learning

The school provides an infirmary with a certified nurse who is always available on-site to ensure the well-being of the students.
